Today (27 October 2020), in a meeting organized by the Supreme Sikh Society, Jason Chand, the Relationship Manager of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment discussed various immigration issues, including migrants stuck offshore, partnership visas and overstayer amnesty. The community presented the immigration officials memorandums and the immigration related responses from a survey conducted by the Supreme Sikh Society and the New Zealand Sikh Youth this year.

In this meeting, the delegate also presented the Supreme Sikh Society of New Zealand a Letter of Appreciation from the Office of Ethnic Communities.
