The NZCSA (New Zealand Central Sikh Association) meeting took place yesterday, and for the first time in history, representatives from all 25 Gurdwaras across New Zealand came together — with 15 management committees attending in person and 10 joining via Zoom.
This marks a historic moment for the New Zealand Sikh community, showcasing unity and collaboration at an unprecedented level.
Although S. Daljit Singh was not a candidate this year, all management committees unanimously appointed Daljit Singh to continue serving as President of NZCSA.
I’m pleased to share that the new leadership team includes:
• Prithipal Singh Basra – Chairperson
• Yugraj Singh Mahil (Hamilton) – Vice President
• Karmjit Singh (North Shore) – Secretary
The Executive Board and various Subcommittees were also formed, with dedicated representatives from across New Zealand putting their hands up to serve and contribute towards the community’s ongoing progress and unity.
This is a proud moment for our community as we continue to shine and make history together through unity and service.
