There was no supply in NZ of wheat bags in last month and some retailers were selling really expensive. So Supreme Sikh Society came forward and imported container of wheat bags and distributed to the families at cost price.

Community appreciated this move, our team helped 1,900 families today and all Atta is finished. Will announce the date soon for next one as 6,000 bags will arrive next week. We trying to do next one more cheaper and continue till Atta price back to normal as some retailers also appreciated our move and trying their best to stand with community when many natural disasters already impacted their life with inflation. Our aims to help community and stand with community in every possible way but not to give competition or for credit. Team working in the ground informed us how community appreciate them and happy and thanking our volunteers. Well done team.
